About this development
Construction works for the Integrated Rapid Public Transport Network project, Denneboom Main Intermodal Facility, WP01, Roadworks for the Denneboom Precinct, Gauteng. CIDB 8CE. The work package comprises the construction of 2 BRT lanes, 2 mixed traffic and raised sidewalks on each carriageway by widening of the existing dual carriageway roadway. The scope of work for WP01 will also include water and sewer connections for the future intermodal station and reconstruction of the subsurface stormwater drainage system. It is anticipated that the relocation of affected electrical services and traffic signals will be carried out by a specialist sub-contractor, who will be procured in the same tendering process as the civil contractor, and will form part of the contractor’s main team.
