About this development
Construction of Inkwazi Regional Mall. The mall will have 30 000m² lettable space with high quality finishes, wide pedestrian malls and roof lights. Some parking will be under roof, with at least three major anchor tenants and many national and smaller shops in the Mall. It has been proposed that the Mall bridges Mark Strasse in order that existing traffic flow or services are not disrupted. It is estimated that over 2 000 new parking bays will be introduced to the CBD through the development. Furthermore the Mall parking and entrance will be designed so that pedestrian walkways can be created between the new development and the existing developments of Lakeside Mall and the Boardwalk. Estimated Value: R340 million.
