About this development
Construction of the Inkunzi bulk water feeder main (stage 3) in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal. The Project will result in the supply of bulk potable water to the community of Steincoalspruit / Inkunzi. This contract is a continuation of the Stage 1 and 2 contracts which forms the linkage from the newly constructed 5ML Hobsland reservoir to the Jononoskop / Matiwaneskop communities. The scope of works for this contract comprises the construction of an 4.2km long 630mm diameter PVC-O Class 500 bulk potable water main and ancillary works. The contract will also include pressure testing, outstanding work and beneficial commissioning of the 14km bulk distribution system constructed from the Stage 2 contract, supplying water to the Jononoskop & Matiwaneskop communities.
