About this development
Construction of services and infrastructure for the proposed Farm Breezie mixed use development. The proposed sites are situated on either side of the R61 motorway at the Ramsgate interchange on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. The development will be located on Portion 6 and the remainder of Portion 1 and the remainder of the Farm Breezie No. 6921, Hibiscus Coast, Erf 219, 402 and 405, Ramsgate. The development will consist of internal streets and open spaces, a resort hotel, logistics park, business park and medium to high density residential components. A primary road network is proposed that establishes a strategic connection to the airport through the site, creating an alternative route that brings economic exposure, makes the site accessible, links with the surrounding road network, and utilizes the existing underpass to retain the connection between the two site portions, establishing internal linkages. A secondary road network is proposed in order to ensure sufficient permeability within, and access to all areas of the site.
