Improvements to the Higginson Highway, Durban

Improvements to the Higginson Highway, Edwin Swales and Inanda Interchanges on the N2, KwaZulu-Natal. Higginson Highway improvements will include: Modify signal phasing and timing; extend Eastbound exclusive left turn lane on Higginson Highway by 100m; add an additional right turn lane at the top of the Southbound off-ramp; add an additional lane to the Southbound on-ramp including an auxiliary lane with a 650m merge length; remove the sidewalks along both sides of the Higginson Highway Bridge to provide space for additional back-to-back right turn lanes onto the Northbound and Southbound on-ramps; add a structural steel sidewalk to the Southern side of the Higginson Highway Bridge.
