The Construction of 2 new bridges over the Alan Paton Road on-ramp, and the demolishing of the existing structure; and a new Southbound carriageway off ramp to Market Road interchange and the removal of the existing Southbound carriageway off ramp to Market Road Interchange, and the realignment of the Northbound and Southbound carriageways over the new bridge; the Alan Paton Road on ramp to merge on the left with the new Southbound carriageway.
