Construction of infrastructure and services for the Ilu Tun Tun Scheme, in Ikorodu, Nigeria. Lagos State Government plans to create various new towns across the state to try and address the urgent need for new housing and accommodation and to de-congest the metropolis and open up the semi-rural areas. Ilu Tun Tun Scheme is one of 7 new town developments. The scheme is located near Imota town along Gberigbe-Imota Roads in Ikorodu division of Lagos state in Nigeria. The Scheme covers a total land areas of 105.486 hectares comprising areas earmarked for site and service plats and private developer's initiative. It is designed to accommodate 12 054 residents. The infrastructure components consist of: paved roads with drainage systems and power supply and distribution network.
