About this development

Construction of a greenfields titanium plant. The plant will have a capacity of between 100 000 and 150 000 tons per year, using between 120 000 to 180 000 tons of titanium slag as feedstock. The study commissioned by the Steering Committee of the TBI showed that SA could be a competitive location for a Greenfield titanium pigment plant. Estimated project value: R3.3 billion.
