Lagos State Government plans to create various new towns across the state to try and address the urgent need for new housing and accommodation and to de-congest the metropolis and open up the semi-rural areas. Iberekodo Industrial Town is one of 7 new town developments. It is situated at Iberekodo opposite Ibeju mixed development scheme at Ibeju, Agbe Village, Ibeju-Lekki local government area in Nigeria. It is a mixed-use development with residential, commercial and industrial areas. The total land size is 919,844 hectares and is divided into 3 portions - private developers area, site and service plots and industrial areas. The area is designed to accommodate over 60 000 residents. The infrastructure components consist of: pave roads, petrol station, open spaces, power supply and distribution network, fire station and police post.
