About this development
Construction of the Hewu bulk water supply scheme, in the Sada region, near Whittlesea, Eastern Cape. The scope of works includes maintenance of existing water purification works in Sada, new rising mains from Sada to zone 2, phase 7 water supply to 3 villages. The new pipeline routes will be placed within existing pipeline routes/servitudes or within road reserves. Where possible the new pipelines are proposed to be attached to existing pipe bridges across watercourses, namely: The Oxkraal River and tributaries.
