About this development
Construction of the hospital component, as part of the Hesketh Country Estate located at the former Roy Hesketh Race Circuit in the suburb of Hayfields, on Erf 9672 Pietermaritzburg, within the Msunduzi Local Municipality and Umgungundlovu District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal. The current entrance to the property is located on Gladys Manzi Road (previously known as Murray Road) opposite Rehoboth Country Estate. Three access-egress points are proposed along Gladys Manzi Road - opposite Grimthorpe Avenue, opposite Rehoboth Country Estate entrance and opposite Bourne Avenue. The development is proposed as a mixed use development and will retain most of the race track as the central access through the estate.
