About this development
Upgrading of the Hartswater bulk water supply located in Hartswater, Northern Cape. CIDB 8CE/7ME. Scope of works could include but is not limited to: construction of a new 800m long rising main pipeline from the WTW to main reservoir site, a new 1400m long rising main pipeline from the WTW to the Langeberg reservoir, new control pumpstation to control all pumping requirements at the WTW, new clearwater sump with provision for new disinfection station, new sludge drying beds, canal inlet & raw water storage dam, refurbishment of all buildings, upgrades to security fencing, access roads and parking area and refurbishment of the distribution pipework, valve chambers and metering equipment at the reservoir sites. The GPS marker has been placed at the Hartswater water treatment works 27°44'31.3"S 24°48'39.1"E
