About this development
Construction of a railway line linking Harare and Chitungwiza in Zimbabwe. Estimated cost: US$ 1 billion. The first phase of the project would consist of a 400km link between Shamva, a town about 100km northeast of Harare, and would head northeast to Moatize in Mozambique. From there, a 900km line is being built to the port of Nacala. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -17.2979787; long: 1.5652772.
