Upgrades and renovation works to the Halfway House Water located in the industrial suburb of Halfway House, Midrand, Gauteng. The contract value is R 273 665 243.19. This Contract comprises inter alia of the construction of new bulk water pipelines to commission the new 25ML Halfway House reservoir. The feeder portion of the bulk water pipeline starts at an existing water meter chamber located at the intersection of Dale Road and K101 Old Pretoria Main Road, runs parallel to the K101 Main Road, and terminates at the location of a new 25ML Halfway House reservoir on Erf 520 at Halfway House Extension 65, Midrand, between Pretoria Main (R101) Road and Morkels Close. The supply portion of the bulk water pipeline starts at the location of the new 25ML Halfway House reservoir and terminates at the connection point to an existing 800mm diameter steel pipeline. This connection point is located at the intersection of K101 Old Pretoria Main Road and Bridal Veil Road. The bulk water steel supply pipeline then continues from the connection point to the end of the existing 800mm diameter steel pipeline and terminates at a point located at the intersection of Allandale Road and Harry Gaulaun Drive. The GPS marker has been placed at the location of the new reservoir 26°00'55.2"S 28°07'28.1"E
