Refurbishment of H.W. Pearson Biological Science Building. The University of Cape Town invites bids from experienced and qualified heat ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractors for a chilled water installation in the H.W. Pearson Building, Upper Campus. The project scope includes, inter alia: Stripping and removal of the existing chilled and glycol system; The supply and installation of a 4-pipe Chilled and Hot Water System; The supply and installation of Air Handling Units. Fan Coil Units. Humidifiers. Ducting, DX Units. Blower Coils, etc; Electrical and control related equipment required for the HVAC refurbishment; The associated builder's work required for the HVAC refurbishment. The project construction period shall commence on 18 May 2015 and finish on 30 October 2015.
