About this development
Development of a 250MW PV solar power plant at Judd's Farm in Gwanda, Matebeleland, Zimbabwe. The proposed project will consist of: A photovoltaic component comprising of numerous arrays of PV panels and associated support infrastructure to generate up to 250MW through the photovoltaic effect; upgrading of the existing access road; Installation of a 33 KV transmissions line to connect the PV facility to the existing ZETDC transmissions line; construction of buildings that would include a distribution substation, connection centre building, control centre, guard cabin, electrical substation and a solar resource measuring substation and fencing.
