Expansion of the Grootegeluk coal processing plant. A new beneficiation model will be constructed that will generate a further 0,7 million tons of semi soft coking coal for supply to Mittal Steel. The expansion will increase the mine's semi soft coking coal output to 2,5 million tons a year. Estimated project value: R320 million.
