About this development
Construction of the retail component for a mixed used development, this will include a petrol filling station, ablutions, a children’s playground and possibly a car wash, truck stop parking and facilities for drivers. Retail outlets which will include shops, a farmers market, a curio/craft market, restaurant, banking ATM etc. Offices situated above the shops (i.e. two storey buildings are envisaged). A medical facility which will be a phased development of a hospital which is ultimately envisaged. An industrial zone containing mini factories, restricted to non-polluting, service, warehousing and manufacturing enterprises. A recreational zone including a Quad bike track and paint ball arena and a sewerage plant to service these. This development will be on a 29 hectare site at the junction of the main road between Pietermaritzburg and Greytown and Wartburg in KwaZulu-Natal. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -29.487234137869336; long: 30.437803854609985.
