Greenstone Mr Price Refurbishment

Upgrading, refurbishment and alterations of the existing free- stander, double storey shop (Previously Mr Price Home ±6 000m²) into two vacant independent retail shops on the ground and first floor respectively as part of the Greenstone shopping centre situated on the corner of van Riebeeck and Modderfontein Road, Greenstone Hill, Edenvale, Johannesburg, Gauteng. The scope of works works consists of the following: 1) Demolition, removal and making safe of existing services, internal divisions, floor and wall coverings, fixtures, fittings, concrete staircase, escalators, passenger lift, etc. 2) Construction of new coffer slab extension to first floor including columns, foundations, piling and associated works, new concrete staircase including foundations and associated works, new mezzanine floor (75m²) and associated works, new openings and windows in façade and associated works (scope/ size/ number to be confirmed), new shopfronts to ground and first floor shops including possible structural elements, new electrical db’s and basic reticulation, new external steel fire escape staircase, door and associated works. 3) Remedial work to existing building shell including roof, gutters, waterproofing, shopfronts, walls, floors, etc. 4) New finishes to common areas including staircases, lobbies, fire escapes, etc including new paintwork to all external walls and facades. 5) Servicing and upgrading existing HVAC installation, fire protection installation (sprinklers, fire protection, smoke ventilation, etc), goods hoist, access doors, ironmongery, etc. 6) Remedial work to external areas, paving (new road paint) and sundry site works.
