The area bordered by Somerset, Napier, Dixon and Jarvis Streets is to be demolished. Plans included an underpass or flyover to link properties in Napier Street with the development near Somerset Road. This could mean Napier Street would be ripped up to make way for the link. The development would also be linked to the Cape Quarter, which comprises restaurants, decor shops and office space.
