Green Giant Molo Graphite Project, Madagascar

The Molo deposit is located in the Green Giant Graphite project in southern Madagascar, and is part of the joint venture (JV) property with Malagasy Minerals Limited in Madagascar. The proposed development includes the construction of an openpit mine, a processing plant and all supporting infrastructure, including water, fuel, power, tailings dam, buildings and permanent accommodation. Energizer has a 75% ownership interest and is the operator of the Project. A preliminary economic assessment on the project envisages a conventional openpit mining method using trucks and loads, with a capacity of 1.17 million tonnes a year of ore at 92% availability, with an average head grade of 8.5%.
