About this development
Construction of the Green City Estate in Kigali, Rwanda. The green city will sit on 620 hectares in Kigali complete with a system that prevents environmental degradation and air pollution. The city will feature clean technologies, sustainable waste treatment, biogas plants and urban forests. There will also build mini-factories with clean technologies, affordable housing, integrated craft production centres. It is estimated to city will cost US$5 billion.
