Construction of the Greater Mbizana Water Supply Project, Contract 1, in Ward 21, 23 and 24 in Mbizana, Eastern Cape. Value of the project: R38 200 000.00. Scope of works is for the implementation of the Ward 21 bulk pipeline and reservoir upgrade. The works include connection to the existing bulk supply storage and make provision for future bulk connections, site clearance, excavations of trenches, installation of approximately 11.73km of bulk pipelines including 0.1km 250 diameter, 5.4km 200 diameter, 2km 160 diameter, 1.5km 110mm diameter & 2.7km 75mm diameter. Construction of 3 reinforced concrete reservoirs, 1 x 500KL and 2 x 200KL. Construction of bulk pipeline chambers and complete with assemblies. Pipe jacking / directional drilling. The exact location is unknown and the marker has been placed at the municipal offices 30°48'04.8"S 29°22'17.4"E
