About this development
Construction of the Greater Eston Regional Water Scheme in KwaZulu-Natal. Phase 3 will consist of the construction of a 3.5 Ml reinforced concrete reservoir and associated chambers, pump station, and 26.4Km of steel bulk water gravity main ranging from 450mm NB to 200mm NB and 1,7Km of 200mm NB steel bulk water rising main. Phase 4 will consist of the construction of a 400K reinforced concrete reservoir and associated chambers, the construction of a pump station, the construction of 11.1km of Klambon and PVC-U Bulk Water Gravity Mains, ranging from ND 150mm to 110mm diameter, 1.5km of ND 150mm Klambon Bulk Water Rising Mains and 11km of PVC-U and HDPE reticulation mains ranging from 110mm to 40mm diameter. Phase 5 will consist of the construction of 5.9km of ND 200mm steel bulk water gravity mains to tie into the existing pipelines.
