About this development

The project is located 60km north of the town of Hotazel, in the Northern Cape. The DFS proposes a 1.5 million-ton-a-year run-of-mine opencut operation, with subsequent underground mining by decline access from the openpit, which will produce oxide manganese ore over a total mine life of 17 years, inclusive of the initial ramp-up in production.
