About this development
Installation of an 88kV overhead power line from the proposed Graceview Substation to be located at the south west intersection of the Heidelberg Road and the R59, extending in an easterly direction parallel to the Heidelberg Road along the southern boundary of the Farm Roodepoort 149 IR, then northwards to link with the Eyestone substation adjoining the Eye of Africa Development. Two new substations will be established along the route. These substations and lines form part of the wider Midvaal master Plan for the upgrading and provision of power being undertaken by the Midvaal Local Municipality in Gauteng.
