About this development
Construction of a new weighbridge at the intersection of the R44 and R46, southeast of Gouda, in the Western Cape. The proposed project will include all required weighbridge infrastructure, a new traffic circle to replace the current R44/R46 intersection and to provide access to the new weighbridge and addition of 4m wide acceleration and deceleration lane to the existing road prism. A short temporary bypass would be used during the construction phase. The GPS marker has been placed at the R44/R46 intersection, 33°26'38.7"S 18°58'12.2"E.
