The development of the Goldfields South Deep Gold Mine Wind Energy Facility and associated infrastructure on Portion 48, 52, 69, 70 of Farm Modderfontein 345 & Portion 2, 7, 11, 12, 23, 35, 39, 40 of Farm Doornpoort 347 with a capacity of up to 100MW with a development area of 335ha in the West Rand District Municipality in Westonaria, south-west of Johannesburg, Gauteng. The GPS has been placed at the centre of the proposed construction area 26°25'46.0"S 27°38'56.4"E.
