About this development
Construction of a 275kV transmission power line,approximately 2km in length, between the Glockner and Kookfontein Main Transmission Substation. Upgrade of the Kookfontein Main Transmission Substation through the addition of a new 315MVA 275/88kV transformer. The project will take place between the Kookfontein and Glockner Main Transmission Substations, which lie west and north west of the Rothdene suburb in Meyerton, south of Johannesburg. This project falls within the Midvaal Local Municipality, Gauteng.
