About this development
The Giro Project is located 35km west of Randgold / Anglo Ashanti’s producing 16Moz Kibali Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. As further evidence of the significant of this favourable mining environment, Randgold recently signed a JV agreement for the Moku Licence, which borders Giro to the east. In 2017, Amani announced its Maiden Mineral Resource for the Kebigada Prospect, located in the south of the Giro Gold Project, where the company holds a 55.25% interest in two exploration permits covering 497km² in the Moto Greenstone Belt in north east DRC, in Central Africa.
