The Gbane Project is approximately 3.5km² and located with in this Palaeoproterozoic Nagodi Graphite-Greenstone Belt in north east Ghana, close to the border with Burkina Faso. The designated Gbane Project represents circa 30% of the total licence area.There is significant gold production, from several gold mines in the wider region, as well as from numerous small artisanal gold workings. The Nangodi gold belt which remains relatively under-explored by modern techniques and technology is host to proven gold potential evidenced by the long history or regional small-scale gold mining and artisanal workings.
