About this development
The Gautrain Johannesburg Park station will be located within the existing Johannesburg Park Station precinct. The existing station is situated east of Rissik street and south of Wolmarans street. The Gautrain station will be on the western side of the current station building next to Rissik street in the Johannesburg central business district. There are five Gautrain stations in Johannesburg. The single-track rail tunnel between Park Station and Rosebank Station will feature four emergency access shafts. From the intersection of the adit and the rail tunnel, tunnels will be excavated in two directions simultaneously.
