Upgrading of Gateway International Airport (Old Pietersburg Airforce Base) in Polokwane. Scope of Work: Phase 1: Extension of Runway by about 1.5km; Cargo Warehouse; Air Traffic Services Tower. Phase 2: Passenger Terminals (Domestic and International Departure and Arrival Halls); Refurbishing and upgrading existing infrastructure to establish an airport city, forming part of the airport city is a trade-fair centre. Phase 3: Involves construction and upgrading of parking and access roads. Phase 4: Cargo Terminal - The construction and commissioning of a cargo-handling area and more taxi ways.
