Estimated Project Cost: Approximately Ksh 450 million - Ksh 650 million. Scope of works include: Removal of obstructions and topsoil stripping. Filling and compaction to form the road prism. Laying of natural gravel sub-base and cement-improved base. Application of double surface dressing / asphalt concrete wearing course. Construction of concrete pipe culverts, box culverts, and lined side drains. Installation of permanent road signs, road marking, and guardrails. The exact GPS co-ordinates are not known and the marker has been placed at the KeRRA Malindi Office area, 3°13'26.9"S 40°07'30.7"E.
