Foskor, the fertilizer makers, will spend R500 million to open a new phosphoric rock mine in Phalaborwa, in Limpopo Province. R200m will be spent on the mine and R300m will go towards a conveyor belt, which will take production from 2,6-million tons a year to 2,9-million tons.
