About this development
Construction of services and infrastructure for a proposed mixed-use land development to be known as Fort West. Land uses will include single residential, high density residential, community facilities such as a police station, post office, sport stadium and clinic, offices for medical suites, estate agents and veterinary clinics, public open space, schools, retail facilities, graveyard and public transport facilities. The development area is located in the western sector of the City of Tshwane, situated 13km west of the Pretoria inner city, north of the Lotus Gardens Townships and 3km north of Atteridgeville, in Gauteng. The Fort West area measures 389 hectares in size and two farm portions are involved namely the remainder of the Farm Broek Scheur 318JR & portion 226 of the Farm Pretoria Town and Townlands 351 JR.
