About this development
Construction of Fobane water supply scheme Phase 3, Contract 1 located in Alfred Nzo District Municipality, Eastern Cape. CIDB 7CE. The project entails the construction of bulk and reticulation water infrastructure, pump stations, and three water retaining structures in the villages of Siberia, Mbizeni Nkalweni and Mango, located in Ward 17. The scope includes site establishment; excavation, laying, backfilling, and testing of approximately 42kms of pipeline ranging from 50mm to 160mm in diameter; installation of 105 standpipes; construction of a 300kl reservoir at Nkalweni; a 1ML reservoir at Siberia and a 25kl elevated tank at Mango. The exact co-ordinates are unknown the marker has been placed in the town of Fobane 30°31'19.6"S 28°38'47.9"E
