About this development
Construction of a 5500-unit integrated housing development in a public-private partnership, in Fleurhof extension 2, Gauteng. The development will comprise of 1650 low cost housing units and 3850 affordable housing units. The total land area of Fleurhof ext. 2 is 291ha. Project Value: R1.6 billion. The total estimated time to completion is 4 to 5 years. The project will be executed in 6 phases. Phase 1 to commence in 2008 and Phase 2 and 3 will follow in parallel once a new water reservoir has been constructed and commissioned. The water reservoir is required for supplying phases 2 to 6 with the necessary water.
