Refurbishment of the existing Flagstaff sewers and sewerage facility, phase 3 contract 1, located at the existing Flagstaff waste water treatment works in Flagstaff, Eastern Cape. CIDB 7CE The project work consists of Thabo Mbeki residential area and the upper part of Flagstaff CBD. The scope of work for Phase 3 - Contract 1 includes the following: Construction of 1400m of 250 mm diameter heavy duty class 34 outfall sewer pipe. Construction of 18962m of 160 mm diameter heavy duty class 34 of internal sewer network in Flagstaff CBD and Thabo Mbeki residential area Construction of 350 manholes (including 2 drop manholes). Construction of 1 x pipe bridge of ductile iron. Construction of 4 x directional drilling sites. Construction of erf connections and also toilet connections on part of Flagstaff town and Mbeki township. The scope also includes the training (accredited) of labourers on pipe laying, brick laying and plumbing. The exact GPS co-ordinates are not available therefore the marker has been placed at the Flagstaff Magistrates Court 31°04'47.8"S 29°30'01.6"E
