About this development
Construction of 70km of 1 200mm diameter steel pipeline from the Flag Boshielo dam to a terminal reservoir at Pruissen (near Mokopane) in Limpopo Province. CIDB 9CE. Along the route, three pump stations will be required: the first at the Flag Boshielo dam, the second in the vicinity of Immerpan (on the farm Malgas), and the third near Pruissen (on the farm Doornfontein). Two balancing dams will have to be constructed, one at the second and one at the third pump station (Malgas and Doornfontein). From Pruisen Terminal Reservoir a 24.5 km gravity steel pipeline of 1 100 mm to 1 400 mm diameter will be constructed to Mokopane and Sekuruwe. The exact co-ordinates are not known and the GPS marker has been placed at the Flag Bosheilo Dam 24°46'49.6"S 29°25'32.8"E
