Construction of the serviced apartments, as part of the proposed Film City development, to be situated on 21 hectares of land, on the site of the old Natal Command military base in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The development will be anchored by the eThekwini Film Studios, which comprise sound stages and production workshops, TV studios for live broadcasts, editing suites, a Walk of Fame, a Back Lot set area, and a museum. There will also be a movie-themed retail component, restaurants, a hotel, and a commercial component.
