About this development
Construction of a new 19 047.5m² Ezee Tile adhesive facility for the manufacturing of cement, sand, paint, grout, tiles, adhesives and construction chemicals to be situated on both Erf 178 and Erf 179, Vulcania Extension 2 Township, Brakpan, Gauteng. Previous use of the land was for the manufacturing of precast concrete units. Currently, portions of the development site are being used as a plastic recycling facility. The proposed development will possibly comprise of the following elements: Adhesive, raw material store, grout, wet plant production, construction chemicals, warehouse, circulation, operational office, guard house, offices and training, PLC office, war room, toilets, 2x laboratories, maintenance, sales/dispatch office, dispatch future warehouse, 2 x compressors, canteen and change room, security platform, manager’s office, pallet store, pump room & returns. The scope of works also includes the decommissioning of the petrol tank onsite, rehabilitation of the disturbed areas (i.e. oil spills, solid waste, used recycling material). Current paving will be crushed and reused. Existing structures are to be removed, except for the substation. The entrance to the site will be refurbished.
