About this development
Extension of the R300 from the N1 to the urban edge north of Wellington Road in Durbanville, Western Cape. The road will ultimately form a ring road around the Cape Metropole. The existing R300 will extend a six-lane freeway with two-lane ramp connections and two-lane termini. The first lane of each ramp connection will merge with the freeway lane and the second ramp lane will become an auxiliary lane between interchanges. The roads impacted by this extension will be: The N1 Freeway, Stellenberg Systems interchange, De Bron Road, Legato Drive, Amadeus Drive and Wellington Road. Langberg Road and Madeliefie Street will be closed. The exact GPS location is not known and the marker has been placed at the R300/N1 intersection 33°52'19.0"S 18°40'18.1"E
