About this development
Development of further retail space of 15,514m² at the Canal Walk Shopping Centre, Cape Town, in the Western Cape, these will be made up of six separate retail 'pods'. These 'pods'' are being built next to the centre, an additional 1 000 new parking bays will also be developed. The hives will have two storeys each and will accentuate the centre's entrances. The expansion also includes enclosing the La Piazza dining area and revamping the food court. Estimated project value: R250 million.
