About this development
Construction works for the redevelopment of the Varsity College, VEGA School and MSA Sandton Campus (to be called Emeris University) located on the Remaining extent of erf 44, Sandown Township, 114 Grayston Drive, Sandown, Sandton, Gauteng The scope of works will be carried out in two phases. Phase 1 includes alterations and demolitions to the following existing buildings: the conference centre conversion (ground floor and first floor), residential block conversion, Varsity College sport centre (gymnasium and cloakrooms 1 and 2), maintenance building, external parking, lighting and fencing, bulk earthworks, civil works, and landscaping. Phase 2 involves the construction of the following new buildings: New Block B for Varsity College, new block A for Vega, Varsity College Sport Centre (Indoor sports centre and classrooms), guardhouse and entrance gate feature, amphitheatre, courtyards, and walkways, as well as paving associated with these buildings.
