Construction of a new tertiary hospital in Emalahleni. Mpumalanga, situated on remaining Extent of portion 121 of the farm Zeekoewater 311 JS within EMalahleni Local Municipality. The estimated cost of the hospital is R3 176 113 000. Scope of works will include: The hospital will consist of 200 Provincial beds and 200 Tertiary Beds and future 75 proposed psychiatric ward, and the following wards and services are planned and this will include, but not limited to as it will be detailed on the proposed infrastructure plan: Medical Wards, Surgical Theatres, Radiology Department, Pathology Lab, Paediatrics Ward,Surgical Wards,Medical Laboratory, Maternity Wards, High Care Wards, Emergency or Casualty Unit and Short Stay Ward, Stormwater management system, Temporary waste storage facilities, Management offices, Doctors' suites and medical personnel offices, Waste management storage yard, Furnace and Boiler, Security guardhouse and Pump station for sewer reticulation (To connect to the existing municipal sewer reticulation system).
