Elegushi Imperial Smart City, Lagos - Healthcare

Construction of a hospital and health care zone as part of the development of a brand new city on 200 hectares of land to be attained by dredging of the Lagos Lagoon in Lagos, Nigeria. The city will be known as Elegushi Imperial Smart City and will be first eco-smart business city in Africa.The dredging of the lagoon will be between 2 and 2.5 metres above sea level to avoid flooding, which is a common feature on the Lekki axis. The new city plans to integrate smart technologies and distinctive features. Proposed amenities include roads with dedicated walking and cycle lanes, waterways and lakes, underground drainage, sewage treatment, water treatment plant, fibre optics cabling, and smart city/house infrastructure for willing subscribers. There will be different zones and the residential zone, will have low, medium and high density areas with water view. Estimated project value :US$300 million.
