About this development
The redevelopment of the Eikestad Mall, the first phase of the Eikestad Urban Renewal Project, a three-phase initiative is currently underway in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. An additional sixth level will be added to the Malls' existing five levels, which will include an additional parking level, which will be sandwiched between retail levels. In addition, phase 5, 119 upmarket residential apartments will be constructed across two floors above the double-storey parking facility. The parking and residential components, to be known as Andringa Walk, will be built in the second phase. The estimated construction cost of the entire project will be R550-million.
