About this development
Sintoukola is a shallow, high-grade, low-cost, near-term sylvinite project situated in Kouilou province, in the south-west corner of the Republic of Congo. A prefeasibility study on the project has confirmed its economics. The Dougou and Kola target areas form part of this project. The PFS envisages production of two million tons a year of muriate of potash from a conventional underground operation with a 23 year mine life. Estimated project value : $1.85 billion.
