About this development
Construction of the 240MW solar photovoltaic power plant Dorado 2 on the remainder of portions 2 and 3 of the farm Goevernements Plaats 417 KQ and the remainder of Farm Kopje Alleen 422 KQ in Thabazimbi Local Municipality, Waterberg District Municipality, Limpopo province. Dorado Energy (Pty) Ltd and Triangulum Energy (Pty) Ltd intend to participate with their Solar Parks to the Round 7 of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP), to be launched by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (“DMRE”).The GPS marker has been placed ±15 km north-east of the Eskom Spitskop Main Transmission Substation 24°54'05.0"S 27°21'26.3"E
